Talered, a platform by former journalist Gitanjali Chandras-ekharan, turns your personal stories into a book. The platform is turning two this month and is celebrating with a discount of 10 per cent. The book makes a great memento for yourself and a gift for a loved one. All you have to do is tell her the story, and Chandrasekharan will weave a narrative, embellish it with illustrations and put it in a book just for you.
Kush Sethi Urban gardener
Instagram: @harame.co
Charges: Rs 2,500 onwards

This urban gardener will help you plant a garden in your home. Through a virtual consult, he will ask you for videos of the space, the lighting and where you live. Accordingly, taking the weather into consideration, he will suggest plants that you can start off with. He also understands that most urban professionals cannot invest too much time pruning and fertilising, and suggests low maintenance, self-sustaining plants. However, he chooses them to have more purpose than just being ornamental; they help build a little ecosystem by attracting butterflies and birds.

RECOMMENDED BY: Pallavi Nath, 43, a business coach by profession, says, “I had a certain vision for my new home—I wanted a green wall as a background for video calls and a huge tree in the balcony for a tree house vibe. Kush, who went out of his way to source plants, managed both. My balcony now feels like the perfect green oasis.”
