It&rsquo;s music festival season, and if you don&rsquo;t want to suffer FOMO, also known as the fear of missing out, it&rsquo;s time to choose one that fits your personality. We give you the rundown on the five festivals we like best, What to wear while you are there and who to listen to. Choose one and get ready to whip your hair like you just don&rsquo;t care.

Sunburn Who to watch: It was one of the first music festivals on the scene and has upped the ante every year. Ambient DJ, Kygo, best known as the remixer of Ed Sheeran&rsquo;s hit, I See Fire, is going to be there. Once you hear the song, you will know why you just can&rsquo;t miss him. David Guetta will close the festival. This is going to be massive and you better carry your most comfortable shoes along. What to wear: The lesser the better. Bikinis, shorts and chappals &mdash; you&rsquo;re sorted. Best bit: You can camp out in your own tent on a beach. When: Dec 27 to 29 Where: Vagator Beach, Goa Entry: Rs 2,800 onwards

Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival Who to watch: Get away from the dust and bustle of Mumbai and head to Aamby Valley to watch Indie gold like Laxmi Bomb, Dhruv Vishvanath, Lost Stories and Best Kept Secret. But the big ticket is obviously Grammy award winning DJ Tiesto, who is every pop electronic music lover&rsquo;s favourite. And for the 90s kids, there is Fat Boy Slim. Remember the song Right Here, Right Now? Of course, you do. What to wear: Neon, neon, neon. Shine like a diamond in whatever colour suits your fancy. Graphic tees are a good bet, too. Best bit: You dance the night away on an air strip! When: Dec 18 to 20 Where: Aamby Valley City Entry: Rs 4,000 onwards

VH1 Supersonic Who to watch: If you haven&rsquo;t heard of Disclosure, well, going to Supersonic will be so worth it. The British duo&rsquo;s music is a must for any true blood electronic lover. Also playing is Axwell, once a part of Swedish House Mafia, who is known for his hits such as Centre of the Universe. What to wear: Floaty, flimsy stuff. After all, you&rsquo;re back in Goa. Best bit: You are right on the beach. If it gets too hot, just head to the water. When: Dec 27 to 30 Where: Candolim Beach, Goa Entry: Rs 5,000 onwards

Johnny Walker The Journey Who to watch: Daft Punk named a song after him in their Grammy Award-winning album, Random Access Memories, called Giorgio by Morodor, and he is going to perform for you. The legendary producer, who has worked with everyone from Donna Summer to Kylie Minogue and Janet Jackson, is known to have pioneered electronic music. Also performing are ambient DJ Tycho and the instrumental band Explosions in the Sky. It&rsquo;s full of popular Bandra faces like Ayan Mukherjee and Kiran Rao. What to wear: This festival is for the seasoned and discerning music listener, so ditch the shorts and go for a maxi maybe? Men can take out their fedoras. Best bit: It&rsquo;s not just about the music. Musicians get together at the venue and talk about their life and experiences with the crowd. Share their journey. Magnetic Fields Who to watch: Headlining is Ratatat, who is fresh from playing at all the international music festivals like Coachella, Primavera Sound and Glastonbury. But, if American Indie is not really your sound, then there is Indian indie featuring Nicholson, Delhi-based Superfuzz, and city boy Donn Bhatt. For electronic lovers, there is Palms Trax, Aqua Dominatrix and Bhavishyavani Future Sound. It&rsquo;s the festival for the well-versed music lover, who knows his music beyond Tiesto and Skrillex. It&rsquo;s time to add new notches on your iPod. What to wear: It&rsquo;s winters in Rajasthan, so carry the stoles, boots and colourful jackets. Best bit: You are in the middle of a desert in a palace, sipping on some rum and coke under the stars. Also, the dungeons of the 17th century palace will be the site for one secret party.
