Just like human beings, ageing can predispose dogs to certain illnesses like arthritis, cataract, diabetes, dementia and cancer, among other diseases. At an interactive session at Doolally Taproom, veterinarian Dr Prerna Vaswani, founder of The Pet Vet will explain how to deal with dog care, especially when they age. "Dogs today are not just pets, they form an integral part of the family and are often treated with the same, if not more, amount of love one feels for their own children. At this session, pet parents and animal lovers will be made more aware of concerns regarding older dogs," she said.
