Witness 2022’s first sunrise
Catch the New Year’s first sunrise from Maharashtra’s highest peak, Kalsubai. Surrounded by forests and fields, the trekking route is a one-of-kind experience with a mix of easy-to-ascend slopes as well as rocky patches overlooking the valley below. The summit offers a breathtaking view of Bhandardara’s Arthur lake, and mountain ranges like Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad, Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar and Harishchandragad. The New Year trek will begin at the base village at 2.30 am,
and it will take about four hours to reach Kalsubai temple, from where you
will get to witness the sunrise.
