Shefali Shah doesn’t always have it together, even if her towering public persona suggests otherwise. Both, the women she has played on screen and the woman the public has known through the filter of media, have contributed to this image of someone who can never fall apart. Shah is serious, solid, and sure-footed, until she lets one in her mind through her “sort-of-memoir”, The Audacity of Being.
The Shefali Shah that one meets is a revelation. She is chaotic, impulsive, funny, and like any woman, has a million moments of self-doubt. “I think people wonder, ‘Isko toh kabhi koi problem nahi hoti hogi. She is always in control’,” the actor tells Sunday mid-day.
