App Store now accepting UPI, Rupay cards for payments in India

Apple has started accepting App Store and iTunes payments in India using Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Rupay cards and Net Banking, a media report said on Friday.

The acceptance of RuPay and UPI cards means Apple users in India will be able to use the domestic payment systems as alternatives to regular credit or debit card payment methods to add funds to their Apple ID balance.
