Microsoft launched a whole new addon to their OS based on AI. They are calling it PC+Copilot. Currently, only laptops with the new ARM-based Snapdragon chips can run these new AI programs. A few impressive programs were showcased as part of the new Copilot lineup. The most outstanding of them was Recall, which essentially remembers everything you have ever done on your PC and has the ability to find and show you anything you need to find from the past. Be it something you were browsing or some chat you were having.

While it sounds intrusive, the program runs entirely offline on your computer, and Microsoft assured that Copilot is never trained on this data. In fact, most of the programs showcased work offline without the need to connect to a ChatGPT or an online AI service; it happens on your PC in real-time using the new Snapdragon Elite chips. Intel and AMD have yet to produce chips that meet the new standard for a PC+Copilot-based systems, but new chips are expected to launch later this year. There are rumours that Nvidia is also working on such a chip.
