A whole year of new games is on their way and here’s a list of the ones we are most excited about
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Cameron Monaghan gets another shot at playing Jedi after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The events of the new game happen five years after the Fallen Order, and it has Cal Kestis, who no longer a Padawan is struggling to get the galaxy out of the darkness. The game will bring back its cinematic storytelling style along with its satisfying lightsaber combat. Survivor should let you explore new and classic locations, along with some familiar characters thrown in for good measure. Judging by how good the last game was, this should be on the game list for any Star Wars fan.

Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is a new action role-playing video game set in the Harry Potter universe. The game is set in the 1800s, long before the events of the Harry Potter series. It follows the story of a player-created character who discovers they have magical abilities and is accepted into Hogwarts. Players can explore the Hogwarts castle and grounds, interact with iconic characters, and attend classes to learn and master magical spells and potions. The game also features an open-world component, allowing players to explore the wizarding world beyond Hogwarts and complete quests. The game was supposed to appear in 2022 but has now been delayed to 2023.
Starfield
Starfield will be released this year; however, little is known about the plot or gameplay at this time, as Bethesda has been tight-lipped about its details. The company did mention that Starfield will be set in a “whole new world” and will feature a “unique and groundbreaking” gameplay experience. It is also expected to have a heavy emphasis on player choice and branching narrative, similar to Bethesda’s other open-world games such as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. Starfield will take place in outer space, and players will be able to explore a variety of planets and alien landscapes. It still needs to be determined what kinds of characters or creatures players will encounter in this new universe, but it is bound to be fun, given Bethesda’s track record.
Final Fantasy XVI
Final Fantasy XVI will get its 16th installment this year. It will be set in a world called Valisthea, which is home to several powerful nations and magical creatures. Players control Clive Rosfield, the firstborn son of the Archduke of Rosaria and the leader of the nation’s army. He must use his abilities to defend his kingdom from the empire of Erebonia. Knowing Final Fantasy everything from the story, the music to the gameplay should be epic. The game will feature a new fast-paced combat system that will combine elements of real-time action and turn-based gameplay. Players can switch between different characters and weapons during combat, and they can also use powerful magical abilities to defeat enemies.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac Game’s Spider-Man will make a swinging comeback in 2023. It is, of course, the sequel to the highly successful 2018 game Marvel’s Spider-Man. The game will take place in a larger version of New York City, as if the one in the first game needed to be bigger. In addition to the open-world gameplay, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will also feature a variety of new villains for players to fight against. There are also rumours of other classic villains making appearances in the game, such as Doctor Octopus and Venom. If the original Spider-Man is anything to go by, this one should be an easy recommendation.
Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter is back. The latest installment in the iconic fighting game franchise promises to bring new characters, stages, and gameplay mechanics, making it a must-play for fans and newcomers alike. The highly anticipated feature of Street Fighter 6 is the inclusion of new characters. According to rumours, the game will feature at least three new fighters. In addition to new characters, Street Fighter 6 will introduce several new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to switch fighting styles mid-battle and the introduction of “Critical Arts,” which are powerful moves that can turn the tide of a match. The game is already available for pre-order.
Diablo IV
Diablo’s unique hack-and-slash RPG will get a brand-new version. This one will give players a choice between five different character classes: the Barbarian, the Sorceress, the Druid, the Paladin, and the Demon Hunter. Each class will have its own unique abilities and play style. The new game will also feature a variety of dynamic events and quests that will change and evolve based on player actions. This open-world structure of Diablo IV will give players the freedom to explore and discover new secrets and challenges at their own pace. In addition to the single-player campaign, Diablo IV will also feature multiplayer options, including cooperative play and player-versus-player combat. Players will be able to team up with friends or other players online to take on challenging boss battles and explore the game’s world together.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure game set in a Metropolis. Suicide Squad has been tasked with eliminating members of the Justice League, who have been turned into monstrous creatures. Players take control of one of four members of the Suicide Squad, each with their unique abilities and weapons. One of the key features of the game is its use of the Nemesis System, which was first introduced in the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games. The Nemesis System generates unique enemies and encounters based on player actions, creating a dynamic and unpredictable gameplay experience.
