How do I find out if she likes me?

If she likes you, but doesn’t take messaging seriously, that may be something you will just have to accept

I have a huge crush on a girl who almost never responds to my messages. She’s friendly with me whenever we meet in person, and I know she thinks of me as a friend, but I don’t know if she reciprocates my feelings in any way because I can’t get a sense of what’s on her mind. I haven’t said anything specific to her because I can’t just message and tell her how I feel, but if she doesn’t take me seriously enough to respond, is that a sign that there is no interest? I am prepared to walk away from this if she doesn’t like me, but whenever we chat, there is never any indication that she has a problem having a conversation with me. I’m just unsure of what do to. Please help.
It’s okay for people to not respond to messages if they aren’t the kind to check their phones all the time. It’s also possible that people have other things to do that get in the way, because you won’t know what their lives or priorities are like. It’s great that you’re prepared to accept any outcome, and the easiest way to put yourself out of your misery is to ask her out the next time you chat in person. You have nothing to lose, and if she agrees to meet for coffee or dinner, you should tell her what’s on your mind instead of assuming she will guess. If she likes you, but doesn’t take messaging seriously, that may be something you will just have to accept.

Do I ask my boyfriend if he wants more time to himself, if he isn’t exhibiting a lot of interest in meeting me? I don’t know if he wants some distance, or just wants this relationship to end. Either way, he is not very happy to spend time with me these days and I am sad all the time.
