You can try being more communicative and explain why you want to change things

I am a 25-year-old guy and have always been in a relationship since I was around 17. I find myself unable to manage when I am single, and there is a state of unhappiness that persists until I am dating someone again. The problem is none of the people I have been with, and there have been many, seem to understand me or want to be with me for very long. This is partly my fault because I think I also give off this vibe that I am not going to settle down and consider a long-term commitment even if the person I am with is great. Some of my friends are beginning to make plans to marry, and I have begun to wonder about my future. I don’t want to stay single forever, but I also don’t want to tie myself down to one person just because I have to. How do I resolve this?
It’s possible that your perspective on relationships, as well as your future, will start to evolve as you grow older. Your friends are pointing you to different directions based on what seems to work for them, and what they want out of their lives. You have your own goals and expectations, all of which are perfectly valid because you are an adult capable of making these decisions. Whether they are right or wrong is something only time can determine but, for now, you should keep asking yourself questions about what you want from a relationship. Settling down for the wrong reasons is a bad idea, but maybe it can help to keep an open mind about how you feel when you are comfortable with someone. Accept the possibility that you just haven’t met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.
My girlfriend gets annoyed when I try and spice up our personal life. How do I get her to be more accepting?
