Sensex tanks 562.18 points, Nifty loses 95.90 points amid surging crude oil prices

Among the Sensex pack, only Titan and Eternal witnessed gains during the early trade. The 30-share BSE Sensex tanked 562.18 points or 0.73 per cent to 76,907.93 in early deals. The 50-share Nifty too declined 95.90 points or 0.40 per cent to 24,095.80 in the early trade

The domestic benchmark indices extended their losses on Wednesday during early trade as surging crude prices continued to dampen investor sentiment.

The 30-share BSE Sensex tanked 562.18 points or 0.73 per cent to 76,907.93 in early deals. The 50-share Nifty too declined 95.90 points or 0.40 per cent to 24,095.80 in the early trade.
