Khushi Kapoor says her "opening move" to approach someone for a date involves seeking "shared interests". "I would seek a shared interest and build our conversation from there, discovering mutual likes. For instance, I might inquire about new movies that the opposite person would be eager to watch or if they have an interest in sports," said the actor, who is rumoured to be in a relationship with her The Archies co-star, Vedang Raina. She also mentioned that exploring new activities and reading the "about me" section of her date's profile is something she would do. "Exploring a new and enjoyable activity that neither of us has tried before could be a wonderful way to connect."

Doctor to the rescue

The latest episode of Kapil Sharma's chat show will shed light on Kartik Aaryan's love life, especially his mother's take on it. As Aaryan and his mother, Mala Tiwari, graced the set, the latter revealed that she hopes her would-be daughter-in-law is a doctor. Considering the league of female fans who've trained their attention on him, Aaryan's love life has always been a subject of discussion. He was previously rumoured to be dating Sara Ali Khan.

The good guy

Actor Shehzada Dhami's eviction from the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was among the most controversial news pieces coming out of the television industry. "Life has its ups and downs; while bad things happen, good things happen too. It's important to move forward," he said. Asked about what it takes to cultivate a good work environment, he added, "A good working environment is one where you are fully focused on your work. Friendships, jokes, and laughter are part of it, but I've always prioritised my work." At the time of his exit, it was suggested that Dhami was being asked to step back from his leading role due to his tantrums. He was replaced by Rohit Purohit.

Saw good, did good

Even though tales of human-like serpents and wicked witches fill our telly screens, among the lot, says actor Avika Gor, were telly shows that touched upon social issues. Gor, who headlined Balika Vadhu, one of the most popular shows on Indian television, says after the series, "we saw a surge in shows addressing
social issues". "But, the trend seemed to fade over time. One reason could be the evolving preferences of audiences, who may be seeking different types of content. Additionally, audience ratings play a role in shaping the content landscape."

PeeCee hurt

Priyanka Chopra Jonas hurt herself while performing a stunt on the set of The Bluff, and called her injury a "professional hazard". Taking to social media, Chopra shared a picture of her neck injury. "Oh, the professional hazards of my job. [My] latest acquisition," she captioned the photo. The Bluff tells the story of an ex-female pirate, played by Chopra, who embarks on a journey to protect her family. She will be seen sharing the screen with Karl Urban.

Pyar ya promotion?

Close on the heels of the release of their films, we've seen actors share those personal anecdotes with fans in which they have a keen interest. Evidently, the revelations serve as a promotional tool to get the spotlight on them, which can, eventually, translate to more ticket sales. This makes us wonder if Shraddha Kapoor, who has long kept details about her personal life guarded, decided to employ the same tactic for Stree? Kapoor, who has never spoken of her love life, recently took to Instagram to share a picture of her with writer Rahul Mody. "Dil rakh le, neend toh vaapis de de, yaar," she wrote, tagging Mody in the post. Kapoor met Mody on the sets of her film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, which was penned by the latter. They subsequently became friends and eventually started dating. A source close to the couple stated that they had wanted to keep their relationship private.

Onto his next offering

Salman Khan shared a picture with director AR Murugadoss from the sets of Sikandar, as he began shooting for the upcoming film, and said that he is looking forward to Eid 2025. Khan took to X to share the picture. On Tuesday, according to reports, a look test and photo-shoot were conducted for the film. On April 11, on the occasion of Eid, Khan announced the title of the film that also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Details about the movie are still under wraps. In 2023, he was seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, an action comedy directed by Farhad Samji. The film is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram.
