Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are often seen sharing updates from their marital life on social media. However, it looks like there is trouble in paradise after four years of marital bliss. The couple has sparked separation rumours with thier recent social media activity, leaving everyone, especially thier fans, shocked.
Eagle-eyed netizens recently noticed that Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Additionally, the Naagin actress has also deleted all pics with him from her social media page. Ever since the news came out, it has led to speculations, leaving netizens curious to know about their equation.
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar reportedly met on New Year's Eve 2019 in Dubai and dated each other for three years before tying the knot in January 2022. They had a destination wedding in Goa.
The wedding was held at the Hilton Goa Resort in Candolim. Their wedding ceremony included both Malayali and Bengali traditions, paying respect to both their cultures. While Mouni is from Cooch Behar in West Bengal, Suraj is a Dubai-based businessman and investment banker who reportedly belongs to a Jain family from Bengaluru.
The couple first got married according to Malayali tradition, followed by a Bengali wedding later in the day.
Mouni has acted in several TV shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasturi, Do Saheliyaan, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and so on, becoming a household name. She then shot to fame with the role of Shivanya in Naagin. After the massive success of Naagin, Mouni shifted her focus to movies.
The actress debuted on the big screen with the Akshay Kumar-starrer Gold (2018). She was later seen in films like Romeo Akbar Walter, Made In China, Velle, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Blackout, The Bhootnii and so on. Next, she will be seen in Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde-starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which is set to release in theatres on June 5, 2025. Directed by David Dhawan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is set to will clash with Ram Charan's Peddi at the box office.
