Shah Rukh Khan's iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, is currently undergoing a major renovation, and producer-real estate developer Anand Pandit has shared what is being transformed inside the property. According to Pandit, his company is constructing additional floors to the rear section of Mannat.
SRK and his family have temporarily shifted from Mannat in April 2025 before the renovation started. Moneycontrol reported that they moved to a luxury apartment building, Puja Casa in Mumbai's Pali Hill.
While discussing his real estate business on Ravi Kewalramani's podcast, Pandit shared that his company is currently handling work on two properties connected to Shah Rukh Khan. Mentioning details about the renovation at Mannat, he said, "We're adding a few floors to the back portion of Mannat."
Mannat is reportedly valued at around Rs 300 crore today, a significant rise from the Rs 18 crore Shah Rukh Khan paid for the property. The six-storey residence has since become one of Mumbai's most iconic celebrity homes.
Pandit, founder of Shri Lotus Developers and Realty, also talked about his company's long-standing association with Bollywood A-listers. "I got very good clients in that project. Hrithik Roshan bought two floors, Rakesh Roshan bought three, and Ajay Devgn also bought a floor. It became an iconic project at that time," he said.
He added, "Our client base is almost entirely made up of celebrities. Eighty to 90 per cent of Bollywood is with Lotus."
Pandit also recounted discovering another redevelopment project of Shah Rukh Khan that his company was interested in. The property was Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road. According to Pandit, Shah Rukh told him that the first apartment he bought after shifting from Delhi was located in the society.
Recalling SRK's reaction, Pandit said the superstar told him, "I should call up the chairperson of the society and tell them to give the property only to Lotus."
"He was very excited about it. My excitement increased a little because of Shah Rukh sir's apartment. But I loved that place because the size and location of the project are so good," Pandit added.
Ahead of the renovation, Shah Rukh and his family temporarily relocated to Mumbai's Pali Hill. Despite the ongoing changes, the property continues to be closely related to the superstar.
