SC dismisses plea challenging renovation and expansion of Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat

Actor Shah Rukh Khan and his family have received a major legal relief after the Supreme Court, on Tuesday, dismissed a petition challenging the renovation of their Mumbai home, Mannat. Interestingly, the SC verdict clears the way for the planned makeover of the iconic bungalow.
Supreme Court dismisses plea against Mannat renovation
The petition filed by Mumbai-based activist Santosh Daundkar had challenged the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearance for the project, claiming that the approval violated environmental rules. Notably, Santosh had earlier approached the National Green Tribunal (NGT), which had rejected his plea in September 2025.
