Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher on Saturday morning met Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who is currently being treated at the Max Hospital, Dehradun following a car accident. Talking to the media, actor Anupam Kher said, "We came to know that Rishabh Pant is in the hospital, so I and Anil, as common citizens, came to see him. We met his mother and he is much better, his spirits are very high and the blessings of the whole of India are with him, so he will get well soon. We met his relatives, all is good, all is fine, we made them laugh. We went to meet him as fans. We as responsible citizens take that please drive carefully, especially here it is foggy at night.  The makers of Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" released the Bollywood star's first look from the much-anticipated crime drama on New Year's Eve.  The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who made his directorial debut in Bollywood with 2019 blockbuster "Kabir Singh", a remake of his 2017 Telugu hit "Arjun Reddy". "Animal" is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures. With internet abuzz of news about Bollywood stars Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tying the knot, people are wondering if another palace wedding is on the cards in Rajasthan.  In December 2021, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had tied the knot at The Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur. Their wedding function was a top secret affair where cent per cent privacy was maintained. Now, the reports doing the rounds suggest Kiara and Sidharth will tie the knot in Jaisalmer next year and the wedding date has been fixed as February 6. However, the gorgeous Bollywood couple has stayed tight-lipped on the matter. The wedding, as per sources, will take place at Jaisalmer Palace Hotel, but, there is no official confirmation from the stars as well as the hotel. Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan shared a post thanking 2022 for being special and hopes to have many more years like 2022. The actor took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself from his 2022 release 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. "Bye bye 2022, You have been really special. I hope to have more 2022's in my life. You will be remembered and how! Thank you for giving me three of my biggest blockbusters," he wrote as the caption. In 2022, Kartik delivered two blockbusters - one horror comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', which raked in Rs 200 crores and 'Freddy' which was widely appreciated after its release on OTT. Model-actress Urvashi Rautela shared a cryptic post on social media after India cricket team batter-wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant met with a horrible road accident early Friday. Taking to Instagram, the 'Sanam Re' actor shared an image of herself dressed in a lacey white suit with silver embroidery, silver jewellery and a glimmering tiara-like headgear.  "Praying," she wrote in the caption along with a white heart emoji, white dove emoji and 8 stars. The post followed soon after the news of cricketer Rishabh Pant meeting with a serious accident on road from Delhi to Roorkee broke. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has directed the makers of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pathaan' to implement "changes" in the movie, including its songs, chairperson Prasoon Joshi said on Thursday.  The CBFC has advised production banner Yash Raj Films to submit a revised version of the spy action thriller in accordance with board guidelines, Joshi said in a statement. He did not detail the changes suggested to the makers. 'Pathaan' found itself battling controversy and calls for a ban after the release of its song 'Besharam Rang', also featuring Deepika Padukone, on December 12. A sequence in the song showing Deepika in a saffron bikini led to protests across India for allegedly hurting "Hindu sentiments". "The film recently reached the CBFC examination committee for certification. The film went through the due and thorough examining process as per the CBFC guidelines. Read full story here

A fresh political slugfest has erupted in West Bengal after the cancellation of a concert by popular play-back singer Arijit Singh at the Eco Park in Kolkata scheduled early next year. The BJP has claimed that the reputed singer has paid the price for singing the popular song 'Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua' in the presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the recent inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), which was attended, among others, by top Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee. BJP's IT cell chief and the party's observer for West Bengal, Amit Malviya, triggered the controversy by tweeting that the cancellation of Arijit Singh's show was a fallout of his singing the song 'Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua' at the KIFF inauguration. Last week, word in the industry spread that Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s blockbuster, The Legend of Maula Jatt, was India-bound after its smashing success in Pakistan and around the world. The action drama was gearing up for a December 30 release, marking over a decade since Bol (2011), the last Pakistani film to get a theatrical release in the country. The movie opening across Indian screens could also be viewed as an inflection point — after all, the Indian film industry had stopped working with Pakistani actors, following the 2016 Uri attacks.
