A man was killed and two others were seriously injured after an unidentified vehicle rammed into their bike in Maharashtra's Palghar district late on Saturday night, police said, adding that a manhunt was launched to nab the culprit involved in the incident, reported the PTI.

Police identified the deceased as 35-year-old Kishore Shukla, a resident of Kansai.
Officials said an unidentified vehicle crashed into the motorcycle, causing severe injuries to all three riders. Shukla died in the accident, while the two other victims sustained critical injuries, the news agency reported.
The injured men were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Police said their condition remains serious.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to trace the unidentified driver involved in the hit-and-run incident.
Officials are examining nearby CCTV footage and gathering further evidence from the accident spot.
Meanwhile, in an another incident, a car was completely destroyed after it caught fire near Kharegaon Toll Naka on the Kalwa-Mumbra Road in Thane district of Maharashtra, officials said on Sunday, adding that the driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt in the incident.
They said that the vehicle caught fire at the Retibandar in Kalwa area on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC), the incident took place at around 2.15 pm on on the carriageway heading from Thane towards Mumbra.
Officials said the driver of the car was travelling from Ghatkopar to Dombivli at the time of the incident.
After noticing the fire, the driver immediately stopped the vehicle on one side of the road and stepped out safely as a precautionary measure.
The RDMC said that the driver was alone in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Fire brigade personnel from the Retibandar Fire Station rushed to the spot along with one fire engine and a rescue vehicle. Traffic police personnel and staff from the disaster management department were also present during the operation.
The fire was completely extinguished by around 2.50 pm with the help of firefighters and disaster management teams.
