The Western Railway (WR) on Thursday finally started the work on the missing roof at the Bandra foot overbridge on the west side. The roof had been missing since the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) dismantled the connected skywalk last year.

The west side of the Bandra foot overbridge (FOB) has been left in the open, with commuters having to face the rain. mid-day had last month on June 6 highlighted the issue in its article on page 1 - "Are Mumbai stations rain-ready?"
