âI was just a few steps ahead when the branch suddenly came crashing down. It broke his umbrella and hit him on the head. Before I could react, he was lying on the road bleeding. Bystanders helped us while a nearby police vehicle rushed him to Cooper Hospital'
âHe had left home after a two-day break due to the bad weather. I had prepared a dabba for him and he left around 7 am. I was informed around 10 am about the incident. Doctors have done a brain surgery, and he is not responding as of now. They have told us that he should gain consciousness in the next 24 hours'.
