Exclusive | Bigg Boss 5 fame Sidharth Bhardwaj returns to TV with The 50

Reality television is set to witness the return of Sidharth Bhardwaj as he gears up to participate in The 50, a format that promises unpredictability, strategy, and constant evolution. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, the reality star opened up about his mindset, nerves, and why this show feels like the right comeback for him. Sidharth Bhardwaj on his comeback with The 50 Sidharth admits that nervousness is very much part of the process, and he sees it as a positive sign rather than a weakness. “Well, yes and no. If you’re not a little nervous, you’re not taking the game seriously. I think it’s healthy to be nervous,” he shared. According to him, The 50 stands apart because of its novelty. “This is a first of its kind format in India. It’s fast paced, unpredictable, and will really reveal who the true strategists are. Since it’s the first season, no one knows what’s coming, and that uncertainty makes it exciting.” For Sidharth, the show is not about using past experiences as a roadmap but about staying present in the moment. “For me, this isn’t about what’s next, it’s about what’s now. Right now, my focus is completely on The 50. I’ve realised that when you start planning too far ahead, you stop being present,” he said. While he remains open to future projects, his priorities have shifted. “Post the show, I’m open to opportunities that reflect who I am today and work that challenges me, not just repeats my past.” Sidharth Bhardwaj talks about the show Having closely observed the international versions of the format, Sidharth believes The 50 rewards intelligence over familiarity. “What I know of the show internationally, it doesn’t reward formulas, it rewards thinking.” After doing several established reality shows in India, he felt the need for something different. “I’ve done most of the legacy reality shows in India, and there wasn’t much left that felt new. The 50 felt like the next evolution. No templates, no comfort zones. It demands instinct, adaptability, and real time thinking.” Flexibility, according to him, will be the key to survival. “In The 50, flexibility isn’t a tactic, it’s survival. In a format like this, fixed strategies won’t work. You have to stay alert, adapt constantly, and think on your feet. A lot will unfold unexpectedly, and the game will change every day.” With this mindset, Sidharth Bhardwaj is ready to embrace the chaos, strategy, and intensity that The 50 promises to deliver.

A still from Jagadhatri

Jagadhatri fame Yesha Harsora shares an insight on her character Tapasya

Jagadhatri continues to engage audiences with its intense storytelling, and among its many compelling characters, Tapasya (played by Yesha Harsora) is currently the talk of the town. She has been the highlight of the story as her true colours are now out in front of Maya Deshmukh (played by Sayantani Ghosh). Tapasya is far from the typical docile television character, she is blunt, impatient, entitled, and unapologetically rude, especially towards her sister Jagadhatri (played by Sonakshi Batra). Yesha Harsora gets candid about her character Talking about stepping into Tapasya’s shoes, Yesha admits that the character is extremely different from her real-life personality. In fact, portraying Tapasya has been one of her most challenging roles so far. She says, “I genuinely have to convince myself to be this rude. Tapasya is extremely blunt and often badtameez in the way she expresses herself. That kind of negativity doesn’t come naturally to me, so before every scene, I mentally prepare myself to show that aggression and attitude. What’s interesting is that in most high-end household dramas, Tapasya is often the only one speaking the truth. Her way is harsh and impolite, but what she’s saying usually makes complete sense. That grey area makes her character very real and very engaging to play. Tapasya is extremely impatient, and that’s exactly why she keeps landing herself in trouble. Playing her has taught me the importance of staying calm and patient in real life. I’ve realised that reacting impulsively rarely helps, and sometimes taking a pause can change everything. I love playing characters that challenge me as an actor. Tapasya pushes me emotionally and mentally, and that’s what excites me the most. Roles like these help you grow, both professionally and personally.” Upcoming track in Jagadhatri Tapasya’s anger has now intensified, especially towards Maya. After Jagadhatri slapped her for disrespecting Maya, Tapasya has become even more bitter and agitated. She has decided to make Maya’s life miserable and has begun creating trouble for her by using Gunjan and Maya’s ex-husband, Sharad. On the other hand, Jagadhatri and Shivaay (played by Farman Haider) set out on a risky mission to trap Musa and rescue the girls. While they manage to succeed, their troubles are far from over. With several unanswered questions and new challenges ahead, will Jagadhatri and Shivaay be able to overcome what lies next?

Speaking about what she would like to say to audiences and her fans ahead of the show’s launch, Krishna shared, “I’m an open book. I’ve always allowed all aspects of my personality and who I truly am to be shown to audiences. I believe staying true and authentic to who I am is the sole reason I’ve been able to connect to people and I approach everything I do with honesty. People easily see through bullshit these days, so it’s pointless to be anything other than yourself.” Earlier, Krishna Shroff shared, "I've been a part of reality shows before, but The 50 seems like it will be a completely new experience for me. Interacting with so many different personalities in one go is something I'm genuinely looking forward to, as I believe there's always knowledge to gain from every person you meet. After doing two reality shows, I've realised that I'm my own biggest competitor. As long as I hold on to my self-belief and stay open to the adventure, I know I'll shine in this unpredictable game." All about the show In a format where perception, mind games, and emotional endurance often define a contestant’s journey, Krishna’s unfiltered honesty and grounded outlook could set her apart. Rather than playing a version of herself for the game, she’s choosing to show up exactly as she is real, self aware, and unapologetically authentic. As The 50 unfolds, viewers can expect to see Krishna Shroff navigate the competition with transparency, confidence, and a deep respect for the bond she shares with her supporters, proving once again that authenticity remains her greatest strength.

Prince Narula, Yuvika Chaudhary

Exclusive | Prince Narula reveals The 50 will be his last reality show

The 50 promises to bring a fresh twist to reality television with 50 contestants locked under one roof, competing in a high-stakes game-based format. Among the most talked-about participants are Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary, who are entering the show together. In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, Prince opened up about his hesitation, motivation, and why this show feels different from the rest. Prince Narula on doing the show with Yuvika Chaudhary Prince admitted that agreeing to the show wasn’t easy. “I’m excited just because I’m going with Yuvika. Otherwise, I don’t do reality shows. I’m telling you the truth. It was very difficult for me to say yes,” he said, adding that the makers played a key role in changing his mind. “The whole team convinced me by saying that you’ve always done shows. This show is coming for the fans. Whatever you do, it will benefit the fans.” Reflecting on his long reality TV journey, Prince shared that this decision was more emotional than competitive. “I’ve done so much for myself. So it’s time to do a show for the fans,” he said, while also hinting that The 50 could be his last stint as a contestant. “I think I shouldn’t go as a contestant anymore. The young people should come and make their own names. We’ve done our work at our time. After this, I might not do a reality show. I’ll just do Roadies and judge, or I’ll do my own shows.” Prince Narula to bring new shows soon Prince also revealed plans to create original formats. “I’m bringing my own shows to MTV. I’ve written them myself,” he said, calling The 50 an exciting mix of personalities. “Every artist is coming from different walks of life. As I’m reading the names, I’m getting confused myself. Who’s going to win?” While confident, he remains grounded. “I’ll try my level best to win for my fans. I think I should think that I’ll win, but I shouldn’t be overconfident. Everyone has come to work hard. Only the one who has the day will win,” he said, promising viewers a familiar side of himself. “You’ll get to see the old Prince. Where there’s love, there’s love. Where there’s war, there’s war.” Talking about competing alongside Yuvika, Prince called it both an advantage and a disadvantage. “The disadvantage is that if Yuvika says something, I’m afraid I’ll lose her,” he laughed, adding, “The advantage is that she’s with me, so there’s no tension.” However, the biggest challenge for the couple is being away from their daughter, Ekleen. “This is the biggest problem. We’ve never left her yet,” Prince shared, reassuring that she is staying with her grandparents. “When she grows up, we’ll tell her that when you were 1.5 years old, we went to do this show. She’ll be proud.” Despite the chaos of living with 48 other contestants, Prince remains confident. “There are a lot of people, but we’ll get rid of them very soon,” he joked. “I’ll stay till the end.”

Rajiv Adatia

Bigg Boss 15 fame Rajiv Adatia shares his take on shifting trends

Rajiv Adatia is a television star who is deeply loved by audiences for his honesty, warmth, and genuine personality. His journey in Bigg Boss 15 has connected viewers with his real emotions, loyalty, and positive energy. He never tried to create drama or chase attention, choosing instead to stay true to himself. This authenticity earned him immense affection from audiences across the country, making his presence on the show truly unforgettable. His success continued when he became a finalist on Celebrity MasterChef. Here too, Rajiv proved that dedication, hard work, and discipline matter just as much as talent. Audiences admired his sincerity and perseverance, further strengthening his bond with viewers. His journey on the show highlighted his versatility and commitment, reinforcing his place as a respected television personality. Rajiv Adatia on trends Recently, Rajiv shared a powerful quote that perfectly reflects his mindset and values: “Trends come and go, they rise, fade, and are quickly replaced by something new. But class and character? They never go out of style. True elegance isn't found in what you wear or what's popular; it's found in how you carry yourself, how you treat people, and how you stay grounded no matter the noise around you.Class is quiet confidence, the ability to stand tall without shouting for attention, to shine without dimming anyone else's light. Character is what remains when the world stops clapping, it's grace under pressure, kindness in strength, and integrity when no one's watching. Together, they create something no trend can ever replicate: timelessness.” These words strongly reflect Rajiv Adatia’s own journey. In an industry where attention often shifts quickly, he has remained grounded and respectful. He believes in lifting others up, staying kind in difficult moments, and maintaining dignity even under pressure. His journey stands as a reminder that class and character create a legacy that truly lasts. Rajiv supports Gaurav Khanna  Rajiv Adatia has come forward to defend his former co-star Gaurav Khanna after the actor was trolled for admitting on Bigg Boss 19 that he does not know how to cook Indian food. Addressing the ongoing chatter, Rajiv clarified that people are confusing two very different scenarios. “Winning Celebrity MasterChef and cooking for 20–25 people daily in Bigg Boss are two very different things,” Rajiv explained. Speaking about Gaurav, Rajiv added, “When he entered Celebrity MasterChef, he was not a professional cook. In fact, during our two weeks of training, he spent hours in the kitchen perfecting his dishes. His strength was desserts and plating; he’s an artist, so presentation came naturally to him. But cooking for the masses is an entirely different skill. Just because you win MasterChef doesn’t mean you’re suddenly a restaurant chef.”
