The American tech giant, 'Apple' has announced a Rs 100 crore investment in India as part of its broader plan to become carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2030.
The investment will be made in partnership with one of the country’s major renewable energy developers, CleanMax and will support the creation of over 150 megawatts of new clean energy capacity. The trillion dollar company said that this would be enough to power nearly 1.5 lakh Indian households every year, with room for further expansion in the coming years.
