Government extends GSTAT appeal filing deadline to July 31

Central Government has extended the deadline for filing appeals before the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) to July 31, 2026, after stakeholders reported technical issues caused by a surge in portal traffic ahead of the earlier June 30 deadline

The Central Government has extended the last date for filing appeals before the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) to July 31, 2026, providing taxpayers with an additional month to submit their appeals.

According to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, the extension applies to appeals filed under Section 112(1) read with Section 112(3) of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) law.
