The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) recent bulletin on Tuesday said domestic economy has shown resilience amid a fragile geopolitical environment amid the West Asia crisis and trade uncertainties with new US tariffs, largely due to a buoyant domestic demand, an uptick in industrial activities, according to news agency PTI.
"Domestic demand remained buoyant, as reflected by several indicators, including vehicle and tractor sales. Petroleum product consumption growth returned to positive territory, after three straight months of contraction. Industrial production strengthened sharply in June, recording its strongest growth in nearly two years, supported by a broad-based acceleration in manufacturing. The services sector also exhibited resilience," the article 'State of the Economy' in RBI bulletin said.
