Mumbai leads Tata Power's EV charging push with over 1,800 chargers

Tata Power has expanded its EV charging network to more than 5,500 stations across over 700 cities and towns in India. The infrastructure has enabled electric vehicles to travel over 414 million green miles while preventing nearly 50,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, with Maharashtra accounting for over 2,400 chargers

Tata Power has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the country, with its network now enabling vehicles to collectively travel more than 414 million green miles while helping prevent nearly 50,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.
In view of strengthening the country's clean and sustainable transportation ecosystem through its expanding EV charging network. The company has established more than 5,500 charging stations across over 700 cities and towns nationwide. Of these, over 2,400 EV chargers have been installed in Maharashtra, including more than 1,800 chargers in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
