Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Chairman S Ramann on Wednesday said the assets under management (AUM) is expected to expand to Rs 100 lakh crore by 2040, as investors look at long-term savings, according to news agency PTI.
"In a growing economy, the kind of need for long-term savings from a customer point of view from a citizen point of view gives us an estimation that we probably in 2040 will be at a Rs 100 lakh crore AUM," said Ramann while addressing the Tatkal NPS: Advancing Digital Pension Inclusion conference.
