SEBI Chairman: NSE not permitted to trade on its own platform

The SEBI chief also clarified that the exchange has not sent any proposal seeking the regulator's approval for trading on its own platform

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey on Thursday said the National Stock Exchange (NSE), which launched its Rs 22,569-crore initial public offering (IPO), will not be permitted to trade on its exchange post listing at present, according to news agency PTI.

The SEBI chief also clarified that the exchange has not sent any proposal seeking the regulator's approval for trading on its own platform.
