Sensex surges 655 points, Nifty gains over 200 points in early trade as IT stocks rally

The 30-share BSE Sensex surged 654.70 points or 0.90 per cent at 73,436.59 in the initial trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty advanced 202.20 points or 0.89 per cent at 22,816.45 in the early trade

The domestic equity benchmark indices traded in the positive territory in the early deals on Thursday led by buying in IT stocks and marginal easing in crude oil prices.
Sensex, Nifty gain in early trade
The 30-share BSE Sensex surged 654.70 points or 0.90 per cent at 73,436.59 in the initial trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty advanced 202.20 points or 0.89 per cent at 22,816.45 in the early trade.
