State Bank of India Q1FY27 standalone net profit rises 10.23 per cent to Rs 21,121.22 crore

In terms of asset quality, gross non-performing assets (GNPA) ratio improved to 1.47 per cent as on June 30, 2026 from 1.83 per cent a year ago. Net NPA ratio too improved to 0.38 per cent from 0.47 per cent

The country's largest lender, State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday posted 10.23 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 21,121.22 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The public sector lender had reported a net profit of Rs 19,160.44 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.

The bank's operating profit stood at 33,529 crore during the quarter under review, registering a 9.77 per cent over last year's 30, 544 crore.
