The Indian equity market is closed for trading today September 14, on account of Ganesh Chaturthi.

According to the official holiday calendar issued by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the bourses will remain closed on Monday, September 14, 2026. As per the official statements, the exchanges will be closed on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. Investors cannot buy and sell shares during the regular trading window. Trading in equity derivatives will also remain closed on Monday. The trading activity on both the exchanges will resume on Tuesday, September 15.
