Sensex gains over 285 points, Nifty rises 115 points as crude oil prices ease

After trading in the negative territory, the 30-share BSE Sensex bounced back and gained 286.98 points, or 0.37 per cent, to settle at 77,656.09. The 50-share NSE Nifty too advanced 115.50 points, or 0.48 per cent, at 24,334.55 supported by late buying

The domestic benchmark indices recovered from their initial losses to settle higher on Tuesday, driven by late-session buying and easing in crude oil prices, despite lingering geopolitical tensions.
Market movement
After trading in the negative territory, the 30-share BSE Sensex bounced back and gained 286.98 points, or 0.37 per cent, to settle at 77,656.09. The 50-share NSE Nifty too advanced 115.50 points, or 0.48 per cent, at 24,334.55 supported by late buying.
