The domestic benchmark indices extended their losses for second consecutive day on Wednesday, dragged down by elevated crude oil prices and offloading in Tata Group following N Chandrasekaran' resignation.
"Indian benchmark indices opened on a flat note and remained under pressure through most of the session. However, buying interest emerged during the second half, leading to a recovery from the day's lows, although the benchmark indices could not turn positive and ended marginally lower," Bajaj Broking Research said.
