Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently visited Sonu Sood's luxurious Mumbai mansion for her vlog, and what followed was a friendly, star-studded house tour filled with nostalgia, charm, and personal stories. Sonu's home is the epitome of luxury, personality, and thankfulness, with furnishings inspired by Om Shanti Om, fan-made artwork, and a room full of sneakers.
The grand entrance and kid's room
The house's entrance boasts a huge Buddha statue and a comfortable lounging area ideal for enjoying the nice weather. The residence opens onto a large, well-lit living room with a white and beige sofa set, exquisite lighting, and a central staircase. A large dining table stands adjacent, providing a comfortable location for the family to gather and eat together.
Sonu Sood's two boys, Ishant and Ayaan, now have their own attractively decorated rooms. Farah praised Ishant's room as "classy," with its cool grey colour scheme and large window. Ishant jokingly said that he previously used the wide window to sneak in and out at night.
Om Shanti Om inspired home
As Farah and Sonu climbed the stairway to the first level of the house, Farah was heard exclaiming, "Wow, just a nice house, looks like Om Shanti Om set." Sonu responded, "Yes, it is entirely inspired by that."
Ayaan's room has wooden floors and opens to a lovely balcony outlook. Farah noticed a gorgeous anime painting on the wall and said, "This could go for lakhs!" Sonu revealed a heartwarming backstory: the painting was given to him by a fan he helped relocate to Mumbai, and who now lives nearby. Ayaan's balcony is a pleasant seating space surrounded by natural foliage, including a mango tree.
Media and temple room
The actor also showed off his little media room, which is furnished with a white sofa set and a television — a spot where he frequently has discussions for potential film projects. The centrepiece of this area is a one-of-a-kind thread painting presented by a fan who travelled all the way from his hometown to deliver it.
The residence also features a stylish modular kitchen with air conditioning. A little religious room adjacent to it maintains a spiritual element in this modern dwelling. Fans could not get enough of Sonu Sood's stunning home. One of the comments said, "Sonu Sood House is warm and welcoming."
