Apoorva Mukhija has landed in fresh controversy after her ex-boyfriend Utsav Dahiya’s hurled accusations at her. Utsav alleged she falsely portrayed him as a cheater and abuser and used him for her content and fame
Apoorva Mukhija and Utsav Dahiya
Apoorva Mukhija has been grabbing headlines after she participated in Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. Her rebel side was even seen in Karan Johar-hosted show The Traitors where she was among the strongest contenders. After her exit, she has been under fire for her personality. After Sufi Motiwala confirmed not being friends with her, Apoorva’s ex-boyfriend Utsav Dahiya has accused her of cheating.
Apoorva Mukhija’s ex-boyfriend slams her
On Sunday, Utsav shared a video on Instagram of a song he composed, titled Cute Little Red Flag (a phrase Apoorva often uses in her storytime videos). In the song, Utsav warned Apoorva to stop spreading lies about him. One of the lyrics read, “Pucha maine ghatiya kyun bola mujhe duniya ke liye, kehti baby yeh toh sab dhandha hai mere liye (I asked why you called me disgusting in front of the world, you said baby, this is all just business for me)."
A part of his caption read, “Ab agar koi aur bakwaas kari toh main seedha receipts nikalunga. Never try to gain sympathy by fabricating lies or pushing false narratives just to make content and assassinate someone’s character online. Having a big following doesn’t give you the right to bully your way by rage-baiting your audience and unleashing them on others.”

He added, “When I was being falsely painted as a cheat and an abuser because of things you said, I reached out to you and your agency hoping to find a way to deal with the hate. Instead, I was told "you’re a nobody, you should be happy you got to date her". So here’s a message from that ‘nobody’: you tried your level best (and I won’t lie, it wasn’t easy), but I’m still here, still standing. That should tell you something: your big numbers only matter on an app. There's a real and much bigger world outside - beyond lies and kalesh.”
The note concluded, “Truth doesn't need 'followers', it stands on its own. Toh tum chalao apna ghar kalesh se, but kisi ke baare mein jhoot bolna band karo. Baki logo ko life mein dhanke kaam karne do. Grow up, kid.”
Sufi Motiwala confirms not being friends with Apoorva
Before Utsav, Sufi penned a note on his Instagram stories and wrote, “I even requested her to ask her audience to calm down because they’ve been abusing me for no reason. Sadly this person who called me her best friend has no concern for that and or the fact that maybe I’m hurt. THAT is why I’m not friends with her anymore. Keep it cute keep it moving.” Apoorva is yet to react to Sufi’s post.”
