One such instance was seen during his recent show in New Jersey, where the rapper added a humorous political twist while performing his famous song. The moment left fans cheering, proving that his songs and shows are about more than just music.
Badshah takes a dig at Donald Trump's tariffs
During the New Jersey concert, Badshah was performing the fan-favourite track Tareefan from the Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding when he spontaneously altered one of the song’s hook lines. Singing the original lyrics, “Kinniya Tareefan Chahidi Ae Tenu" (How many compliments do you want), he cleverly switched it to “Kinni Tariff Chahidiye Trump Ko" (How much tariff does Trump want).

The Mercy rapper's playful wordplay highlighted his ability to merge humor, music, and social current affairs and keeping the audiences entertained while staying culturally relevant.
Unfinished USA Tour
The North American leg of Badshah's Unfinished Tour follows performances in the UK, UAE, and Canada, where he consistently drew massive crowds. After New Jersey, his upcoming shows in the Bay Area, Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago are highly anticipated. Meanwhile, his earlier stops like Virginia and New Jersey managed to gather huge crowds and impress fans with energetic sets, high production values, and surprise celebrity appearances from stars like Nora Fatehi and Mickey Singh.
Badshah's tour is also a historic one for Indian hip hop. The promoters of music mogul and entrepreneur Badshah's upcoming USA tour have reportedly invested an unprecedented 2 million USD exclusively towards the production of the multi-city tour, officially marking it as the most expensive tour ever mounted by an Indian hip-hop artist.
Beyond his live shows, Badshah is also enjoying massive success with his recent album Ek Tha Raja, which includes hit singles like God Damn, Jawaab, and Khushnuma. Fans have also been impressed by his transformation after losing 20 kg, which he attributed to a disciplined diet and exercise.
