The first episode of web series 'Girl in the City' has registered more than a million hits on Facebook in 5 days.
The web series, which was launched on bindass' Facebook page on April 28, is a coming of age story of 21-year-old Meera Sehgal&nbsp;from Dehradhun, played by&nbsp;Mithila Palkar,&nbsp;who comes to the bustling city of Mumbai to pursue her dream in the fashion industry.

The first episode seems to have connected with viewers and fans from all age groups.

'Girl in the City' is directed by Samar Shaikh of 'Bobby Jasoos' Fame, written by Sanyukta Chawla Shaikh (writer of critically acclaimed 'Neerja') and co-produced by actor-director Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Bindra from Still and Still Moving Pictures.
The series also stars 'Udaan' actor Rajat Barmecha in a pivotal role.
