Megastar Amitabh Bachchan-Deepika Padukone starrer 'Piku' has crossed the Rs 100 crore earnings mark worldwide.

The slice-of-life film, also starring Irrfan and directed by Shoojit Sircar, released on May 8. Its slow but steady performance at the box office helped the movie attain the milestone.
Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to express his excitement over the film's amazing run.
"'Piku' world wide 100 crore..! Wow! never expected this from the film. Thank you all, you made it happen," the 72-year-old actor posted on Facebook.
He also tweeted, "'Piku' is 100 crore world wide! 'BLUES' win BPL and IPL.. I am like 'o baby.. !! come to Mama !! BADOOOMBA."
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh provided the break-down of the film's earnings worldwide.
"#Piku overseas total: USD 5.36 million (Rs 34.09 crore). Worldwide total (India + Overseas) crossed Rs 100 crore. Fantastic," he posted.
