One of Bollywood's most beloved cult classics, Dil Chahta Hai (2001), marked 25 years on Friday. To commemorate the milestone, the film's cast and crew came together for a special anniversary meet in Mumbai on August 28. While the nostalgic reunion saw Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Farhan Akhtar, and Sonali Kulkarni, fans quickly noticed that Akshaye Khanna, who essayed the beloved Sid in the film, was absent from the event.

His absence at the reunion raised curiosity online, with many wondering why the actor missed the event despite being in the promotional poster for the special gathering. Event host Nikhil Taneja took to his Instagram to share the reason behind Khanna skipping the event.
