The film which is a tribute to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar had Mr Bharat applauding the efforts of making a commercial yet socially significant film.
The makers had a long battle with the Censor Board for the okay of the film. It has also being opposed by the All India Brahman Mahasabha as they think the film portrays Brahmins in a bad light. A cause comes with controversies!u00a0
