The gender pay gap in Bollywood results from the patriarchal mindset of society, which does not see women as heroes, superstar Aamir Khan has said. The 52-year-old actor, who has been at the centre of some of Bollywood's biggest money-spinners, said he "strongly believes" in equality but change will happen only if there is a paradigm shift in society's attitude.
