Buzz is that the upcoming Aamir Khan-starrer 'pk' will release in approximately 5,200 screens — not to forget 820 screens overseas — making it the biggest release in India.

Moreover, the release date helps the case. Says a source, "There are no other Hindi films lined up for December 19, so it will get a good number of screens. The makers are hoping to touch the golden box office figure of Rs 300 crore."
A source associated with the film further points out, "Yes, we are trying to release the film in every possible theatre in the country. Besides, it is a family entertainer. Aamir and director Rajkumar Hirani always try and give the audience something different. We can’t give you the exact figure right now as we are still in the process of locking the screens, but this will be one of the biggest releases ever."
