Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,' recently paid a visit to Faridabad, and met the parents of late ‘Dangal’ actress Suhani Bhatnagar. Suhani passed away recently after battling dermatomyositis which is a rare inflammatory disease. The actor paid his condolences to the grieving family.  According to reports, Suhani lived in sector 17, Faridabad. She was cremated at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad

A picture from Aamir’s visit is now doing rounds on the Internet. In the picture, the actor can be seen with Suhani's parents and other members of the family, as he stands next to her framed picture.

According to a report in Jagran, the reason for the death is said to be fluid accumulation in her body. Reportedly, Suhani met with an accident a while ago which resulted in a fracture in her leg. The medications she took during treatment had such a side effect on her that slowly her body began to accumulate fluid. She had been admitted to Delhi's AIIMS hospital for quite some time.

Dangal’, which released in 2016, saw Suhani in the role of Aamir's daughter Babita Phogat. Aamir played the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in the film. Following Suhani's demise, Aamir Khan's production house released a statement expressing grief.

It read: "We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”

Dangal is a 2016 sports drama based on the life of India's Phogat sisters. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari starred Aamir Khan in the lead role. The film featured Aamir as Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India's first world-class female wrestlers. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra portrayed the adult versions of the two Phogat sisters while Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar their younger versions.
