Aamir Khan Tuesday broke into an impromptu gig with the Indian Ocean band here and took charge of the drums at the star-studded music launch of his forthcoming production Peepli Live.

"Since childhood I wanted to perform on stage with a band and finally I got an opportunity. It's a dream come true thanks to Indian Ocean," said Aamir, after a thumping performance of the song "Des mera rangrez" from the movie.

The number has been composed by the band, who invited the actor on stage before kicking off the show.
