Aditya Narayan, who will make his acting debut with Vikram Bhatt's Shaapit, has decided he does not want his dad, National Award-winning singer Udit Narayan interfering in his career. He has already shifted to his new house in Oshiwara in a bid to create his own identity separate from that of his father. He does not want Udit to promote him and wants to take his own decisions and succeed in the industry on his own merit. In fact, Udit visited the sets of Shaapit only once u2013 on the first day of Aditya's shoot. However, Udit has denied that his relationship with his son has disintegrated.

Meanwhile, Aditya is reportedly dating Shapith co-star Shweta Agarwal. The two have been spotted cosying up to each other on the dance floor at a common friend's birthday party. Shaapit is slated for a March 19 release.
