After months of speculation, actress Ananya Panday recently confirmed dating Aditya Roy Kapur on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan'. Since July this year, pictures and videos of the couple taking holidays together had set the internet of fire. However, rumours of a relationship had sparked in 2021 when they were spotted together at Kriti Sanon's Diwali party. Therefore, today on Aditya Roy Kapur's 38th birthday, Ananya's wish on social media was the most anticipated.
Ananya took to her Instagram stories to share an unseen pic of Aditya. In the frame which is largely dominated by trees, Aditya can be seen staring in the camera. Sharing the picture, Panday wrote, "Happy birthday AD" along with a rollercoaster emoji and heart made of hand emoji.

On her recent appearance of Koffee With Karan, host Karan Johar asked Ananya how she has been managing her nights, a word play on Aditya Roy Kapur's hit show 'The Night Manager'. Continuing the trend of using movie titles in hints, Karan asked Ananya if she's 'Gumraah in love'. The actress responded by saying, "Aashiqui aise hi hoti hai (such is love).” Gumraah and Aashiqui 2 were headlined by Aditya. When Karan prodded her further, she said, "Some things are private and special and it should be kept that way but I really want to talk about my professional life because no one’s talking about it." In spite of multiple attempts to make Ananya answer the question, she refused to give details. Instead, Ananya said that they were friends. Citing a dialogue from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan said, "Pyaar dosti hai," and she replied, "We’re best friends."
For Ananya's birthday last month, the actress was seen heading for a holiday with Aditya Roy Kapur. Ananya spent her 25th birthday in the Maldives with Kapur. While she shared a string of images and videos from the holiday, she did not share any with Aditya. However, netizens were quick to figure that her pictures and videos were captured by Ananya.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in the film 'Dream Girl 2' opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. It was Ananya's first film to cross Rs 100 crores at the box office. Next, she has 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', 'Call Me Bae' and a cyber thriller with Vikramaditya Motwane in the pipeline.
