Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was in a rather good mood as he got papped at the Mumbai airport on Friday morning. The actor was seen arriving at the airport in a black luxury car. Dressed in a black shirt and pants, the actor appeared pleasant towards the paparazzi, especially at a time when a part of the industry has expressed displeasure at them on Thursday.

Akshay Kumar's work front

The actor was last seen on the big screen in Jolly LLB 3. Before that, he appeared in Housefull 5 and Kesari 2 this year. He has multiple films lined up, beginning with Welcome To The Jungle. The team is looking to wrap the film with a 20-day schedule, and for the same, director Ahmed Khan is scouting forest areas in North India. Action master Abbas Mogul will choreograph the sequences, including chase scenes, gunfights, blasts, and a sequence with 300 horses in the climax. A source adds, “The last schedule will begin in the first week of December, after which an introduction song with the entire cast will be shot in Dubai.” The film was announced in 2023 but has faced significant delays due to scheduling conflicts among the star-studded cast, which includes Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, and many more.

Apart from Welcome To The Jungle, Akshay also has three films with director Priyadarshan in the pipeline. He has already wrapped Bhoot Bungalow with the filmmaker, also starring Wamiqa Gabbi. They are currently shooting Haiwaan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan. Haiwaan is an adaptation of Priyadarshan’s Malayalam thriller Oppam (2016). The Hindi film features Khan as a visually challenged man with heightened senses, who takes on Kumar’s antagonist. “I am doing an action-oriented movie after a long time. Haiwaan is a comedy thriller, almost a cat-and-mouse game with a lot of action,” says the director, whose last Hindi release was Hungama 2 (2021).

In addition, Akshay will soon begin filming Hera Pheri 3 with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
