Actor Akshay Kumar recently underwent a minor eye surgery for vision correction in Mumbai, following which the actor will be taking a break from his work. The update comes days after Akshay wrapped the Keralam schedule of his upcoming film

Actor Akshay Kumar has had a busy year so far with multiple releases and shoots scheduled one after the other. After delivering a hit with Priyadarshan's Bhooth Bangla and wrapping up his reality show, Wheel of Fortune, he has now embarked upon the shoot of his next with filmmaker Anees Bazmee. However, according to recent reports, amid the hectic commitments, Akshay has found time to undergo a minor eye surgery.

According to a Hindustan Times report, Akshay underwent eye surgery in Mumbai. A source told the portal, “It was a minor surgery which took place on the morning of May 6, Wednesday. It was for vision correction. Akshay will now take a break and recuperate since he has also finished the Keralam schedule of his next film with Anees, which also stars Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna.”
