Three is a crowd, or sometimes the perfect troika for love. Ask Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Raashii Khanna, who are filming a romantic track for their yet-untitled next directed by Anees Bazmee. After wrapping up the romantic comedy’s Kerala schedule in May, the unit is now working at a brisk pace on a set at Royal Palms in Goregaon, Mumbai.  

A source told mid-day that the song delves into how Kumar and Balan, who portray a married couple, fell in love. It also offers glimpses of how Kumar and Khanna’s characters met, as the latter plays his former girlfriend. “A set depicting the interiors of the lead couple’s home, designed by Mayur Sharma, was put up at Royal Palms. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly shot parts of the song over three days. In July, the unit will head to Dehradun where they will film the remaining portions of the track.”
