Akshay Kumar began shooting for R Balki's Padman yesterday. The Khiladi tweeted, "Embarking on a new journey, this time with the Mrs (Twinkle Khanna). First day of Padman directed by R Balki, need your love and luck as always."

The film, which marks Twinkle's debut as producer, is being shot on the outskirts of Indore.
