The film's story which is based on Indian mythology has been constructed as a trilogy with the first part will follow the protagonist Shiva (Ranbir), who is in love with Isha (Alia). The second and third parts of 'Brahmastra' are due in 2024 and 2026, according to Variety.
Alia Bhatt has a series of films lined up for 2022. Alia will also be seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Darlings', 'RRR' and 'Takht'.
