Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the highly anticipated movie starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is set to grace the theaters on July 28th. As the countdown begins for the theatrical release, the lead duo, Alia and Ranveer, are leaving no stone unturned in promoting their film. Directed by Karan Johar, the film recently received certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after some suggested cuts.
In the recent past, it was reported that CBFC had recommended certain changes to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, leading to its certification. Responding to these alterations, Alia shared, "There have been some minor cuts that have been asked by the board, and we respect that completely. However, the particular cut you're referring to, 'Khela hobe,' is not the case." Alia was referring to the suggested removal of a dialogue about West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee.

Despite the board's recommended changes, Alia is confident that they won't affect the film's overall storyline. She stated, "I think we should let everybody watch the film and not talk about what's been cut. The final cut of the film is seamlessly flowing, regardless of these minor cuts," expressing her faith in the movie's narrative.
Previously, the CBFC officially certified the Karan Johar directorial and presented the certificate to the film's makers. Notable changes made to the film include replacing the abusive word 'b******d' with 'behan di' and altering the name of the popular rum brand Old Monk to 'Bold Monk.' The board also requested the removal of the usage of 'Lok Sabha.' Furthermore, a scene featuring a portrait of the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore at Rani's house underwent a modification, with a certain word being replaced by 'Koi filter.' Additionally, in a scene at a lingerie shop, the word 'bra' was substituted with 'item.'
